Title: Room One: A Mystery or Two Author: Andrew Clements Reviewer: Laura, 10 In a small town with a school of nine kids and one teacher, lie a couple of mysteries that Ted, the only sixth grader in the class, can solve. These mysteries are nothing like the ones Ted has read about in his books. Will he solve the mysteries? Can he complete the mission? This chapter book is an absolute page turner! The rating is a definate 5! You will learn a lot about helping others as you read it. I loved the plot, but a turn in the story had me left clueless! |
Title: Meet Julie Author: Megan McDonald Reviewer: Emily, almost 13 Come meet Julie as she is growing up in 1974 and is starting in a new school. She is trying to cope with change. At the same time she is trying out for the boys only basketball team. I liked how Julie and her sister grew in their relationship. If you want to learn more about the 1970’s you should read Meet Julie. I rate this book a 5! |

Title: How to Steal a Dog Author: Barbara O’Connor Reviewer: Gianna, 9
This book is about a girl and a boy and their mother that live in a car and need money to get a house. The girl and boy decide to steal a dog. The main characters are the boy and girl, there is nothing I like about the book and I hate everything about the book.
I rate the book a 1. |

Title: Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Author: J.K.Rowling Reviewer: Emily, almost 13 Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows is the last book in the series. Harry finds himself dropping out of Hogwarts to find and kill you-know-who (Voldemort). But he finds everyone else is in danger. Who? You will have to read the book to find out! This story would be best read on Halloween. It’s a frightful book, but it is also funny. So come join Ron, Hermione, Harry and others in a great book! I rate it a 4!! |
