Support The Dover Public 'Anchor' Library Building Project!

The Issue : Your Dover Public Library no longer has enough space to conduct the

business of providing library services for our region.

The Solution: To secure funding to build an est. 52,000 sq. ft. "Anchor" Library Facility

for the Kent County region of Central Delaware.

  • More than 50% of the people that use the Dover Public Library live outside of the City of Dover!
  • Nearly 400,000 people visit the Dover Public Library yearly!
  • The Dover Public Library is the busiest public library in Central and Southern Delaware!
  • Speak up on behalf of the library at every opportunity - join our building committees.
  • Encourage your friends and neighbors to become library advocates now.
  • Funding the project from the City, County, and State Levels of Government is essential.
  • Communicate with your elected officials now by letter, e-mail, or in-person.
  • Sign our New Building Support Petition!

Check out the Photos/News link on this web site for complete building information.
